An RJ-45 Internet connection point that allows a compatible CAT-5 cable to be pulled through. Aimed at the Hospitality industry it provides a straightforward, low-cost and visually attractive solution to cable management issues. The Pull-Through Access Point HSIA Accessory kit contains an Ethernet cable, foam security DeskPlate and a DeskCard HSIA advertising/instruction card holder.
An internal weight keeps the access point in position, both guiding and supporting the CAT 5 Internet cable while it is being pulled through. This access point prevents the cable from falling to the floor and ensures a strong visual identification of in-room high-speed availability.
The Pull-Through Access Point is delivered in 2 separate parts that snap together, optimising ease of use and speed of installation. As both parts can only be separated using tools the risk of theft is limited.
The Pull-Through Access Point can be custom branded and is available in a wide range of Pantone colours.
It is recommended that the Pull-Through Access Point be used in combination with TeleAdapt DeviceSafe Cables. These specially moulded CAT 5 cables have special permanently fixed ends at the sockets, making it more difficult for a thief to detach the cabling from the hardware.
And, as theft becomes more difficult the life span of the Pull-throughAccess Point is extended, increasing the return on investment (ROI). DeviceSafe cables can be used with the Pull-Through Access Point, MiniAccess Point and DeskSpool.
